[may God bless those who died on this date four years ago, and all their friends, relatives, and everyone else in the world affected.]
CLIJSTERS WON! yay woot joy, really, mary pierce seriously was no match for her. especially with the two injuries. anyhow, clijsters has had a really good year, and i don't really care that myskina and vaidisova didn't win or anything. as long as sharapova didn't, i shall cheer for whoever the winner is.
mens finals @ 1 tonight. i shall watch if i haven't finished my essay by then yet.
ahaha. im currently taking a break fr writing the lit essay, *groans*.
@ the same time, im also watching will's mv of "kuai le chong bai", one of the dvds i bought before leaving s'hai. angela lookz gr8 in the video, except shes not much more than a stick. understanding why so many male celebs like her. old song, but its so freakin catchy lol. will dances hiphop decently.
the following is some stupid thing i wrote before i fell asleep a couple days ago, after watching a game between dementieva and someone. all these russian names are hard to spell.
anyhowdies, this thingy is based on the 'numb' video. and no, its not a poem. i've given up all literary attempts since two years ago. it's just .... a commentary of what the video is trying to say.
she is the girl with the broken soul
the despaired green eyes
she is the girl who walks alone
as she passes giggling cliques
and chattering steoreotypical groups
on her way home.
she is the girlwho doesn't care for the paint stains
or the six-packed guys to be gushed over
she is the girl who hears at home
complaints
from her mother
and when her drunken father is back
she is the girl with the blue-blacked arms
from the bruises she gets
when she grips too hard to stop the tears
she is the girl with the countless scars
that nobody knows or sees
she is the girlwho kneels at the foot of the cathedral
and duplicates the statue onto her canvas
with a whimsical smile
and clothes that are too big for her
she is the girl who is weird, they say.
